This page sums up what the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) means for your personal data at EssayOnTime.org. The full account is in our Privacy Policy, and your orders are governed by our Terms and Conditions.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is PVexperts, which operates EssayOnTime.org (“we”, “us”). For anything about your personal data, write to support@essayontime.org.
The grounds we rely on
- Contract. We use your data to run your account, complete your orders and answer your questions.
- Legitimate interests. We use it to take payments, prevent fraud, keep the service secure and measure and improve the website.
- Consent. Promotional emails rest on your consent where the law requires it, and you can withdraw it at any time. Where the law allows promotional emails without consent, they rest on our legitimate interest, and every one carries an unsubscribe link.
- Legal obligation. We keep payment and accounting records and answer lawful requests from authorities.
Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
What you can ask us to do
- Show you the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it.
- Restrict how we use it.
- Send it to you in a portable format.
- Stop using it for a purpose you object to, including direct marketing.
You can also withdraw any consent you have given.
How to make a request
Write to support@essayontime.org from the email address on your account and tell us which right you want to use. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We answer within one month, and once a deletion request is verified we complete it within 14 days, except for records the law requires us to keep.
How long we keep your data
- Account and order records are kept for as long as we need them for your orders, disputes, accounting and the law, and no longer than 10 years after your last use.
- Payment verification material is kept only until the check is done.
- An email address entered in the order form is kept for up to 45 days even if no order follows; our statistics see only its domain.
- Our own records of visits and of how the order form is used are kept for 13 months.
- Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
If you are not satisfied
Tell us first, and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular the one in the country where you live or work, or where you believe the problem arose.
